The Korben is a handcrafted paring knife designed for the precision work that every kitchen demands. Compact, nimble, and built for control, this knife is made to handle the detailed tasks where accuracy matters most.
From peeling fruits and vegetables to trimming herbs, creating garnishes, and tackling everyday prep work, the 3.25" blade provides excellent control while delivering the cutting performance expected from a Buttonhook Forge blade.
Each Korben is handcrafted from W2 high-carbon steel and features an authentic hamon created through traditional differential heat treatment. Every hamon pattern is unique, giving each blade its own character and making no two Korbens exactly alike.
With a .122" thick blade and an overall length of approximately 7", The Korben offers a lightweight, comfortable feel in hand while maintaining the durability and edge performance needed for daily kitchen use. Finished to a razor-sharp edge, it is ready to become a trusted part of your kitchen.
Each Korben includes a handcrafted wooden knife holder, providing a safe place to protect the blade while showcasing the unique craftsmanship when not in use.
Every Buttonhook Forge knife is handcrafted one at a time in my Illinois shop, built with purpose and finished by hand.
