Small in size, but built with the same purpose and craftsmanship found in every Buttonhook Forge knife, The Marmot is a compact everyday carry blade designed to handle the tasks that come up day after day.
Featuring a 2.5" blade handcrafted from tough 80CrV2 high-carbon steel, The Marmot delivers dependable cutting performance in a package that is easy to carry. The .150" thick blade provides a solid, capable feel while maintaining the compact size that makes this knife a natural fit for everyday use.
The ergonomic handle features an integrated finger hole, providing a secure grip and excellent control despite its small footprint. Whether opening packages, cutting cordage, handling shop tasks, or taking care of everyday chores, The Marmot is designed to feel confident in hand and ready when needed.
Each Marmot comes with a custom-fit Kydex sheath, handmade in my shop to protect the blade and provide secure storage. Its compact design allows you to customize your preferred carry setup and keep a dependable tool close at hand.

80CrV2 is a high-carbon steel and is not stainless. To keep your Marmot performing at its best, hand wash only, dry thoroughly after use, and apply a light coat of oil before storage.
With proper care, the blade will develop a natural patina that reflects the work and use it has seen.
